On June 8, Gao Hongwei, the Chairman of CASIC met Li Shufu, the Chairman of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. Ltd. and his visit group, when they made full communication and exchanged their views on industry cooperation, especially the cooperation on transforming the achievements of civil-military integration. Li Yue, the President of CASIC, Song Xin, a Vice President of CASIC, the executive assistants and the officers of related departments attended this meeting.
Gao expressed that CASIC is willing to take full advantage of its capabilities on aerospace defense, intelligent manufacturing and IoT construction, and promote the integration of its developed aerospace technologies with the established market-based commercial operation of Geely, so as to form the capability of industrialization, for mutual economic benefits.
During the meeting, CASIC and Geely decided to establish an interface workgroup as soon as possible, set a schedule for the cooperation on high-speed flying train, IoT application and other aspects. The parties also discussed the possibility of the cooperation on driverless vehicle system, in-vehicle chip, application of blockchain technology in automotive and the Internet of vehicles (IoV), in the hope of further cooperation in more and more fields for a win-win outcome in the future.
