Recently, the Beijing Institute of Radio Measurement of the Second Academy of CASIC developed the BeiDou air-sounding system successfully. Compared with the GPS air-sounding system, the BeiDou air-sounding system has achieved a great improvement in the calibration efficiency, the data consistency and the product qualification rate, which will promote its leading position in the Chinese meteorological product market and lay a solid foundation for the product’s further entry into the international market.
